Component separator

Automation for SMEs. With the Varioshaker 270, Variobotic has developed a component separator for the areas of pick and place and flexible feeding. Components with different geometries can be separated using targeted movements.
The Varioshaker 270 offers its users options for separating small parts. The focus is on flexible use in small and medium-sized businesses, which often have to deal with small order sizes and different part sizes. Conventional systems can often only be converted by experts and at high cost. The Varioshaker is different.
It can separate small parts with a size of 0.5 to 50 millimetres, depending on their component geometry, through targeted movement, collection and shaking. The shaker adapts to the different geometries of the small parts by using various vibrating plates with different surfaces. Vibration plates with surfaces such as knobs, holes and slots are currently in use, and there are also plates with a smaller separating surface. The magnetic quick plates can be exchanged in just a few simple steps.
Variobotic checks the compatibility of the small parts in advance using part tests. During the test, a decision can be made as to which vibratory plate is best suited or whether a new surface needs to be developed.
The Varioshaker can also be put into operation without expert knowledge. The shaker can be set up, configured and operated using the "Shakerconfig" software. The developer offers support with a tutorial in which the individual setup steps are clearly explained.
Thanks to an I/O interface and Ethernet, the Varioshaker can be adapted to almost any robot and can be integrated into complete systems. The Eligoshake M1 out-of-the-box solution developed by Variobotic is an example of integration into a complete system. In this complete system, the Varioshaker is combined with a Scara robot from Dobot and the Eligopart image processing solution from Attentra. The image processing system consists of an automatic

setup, a calibration tool and automatic hand-eye calibration of the camera and robot. A setup wizard enables complete configuration of the camera, robot and gripper as well as reliable automatic recognition of components. In combination with the Varioshaker, the result is a complete system for flexible feeding and part separation of bulk goods. as
