Cobot on the lathe
With the 6-axis cobot UR10e CB5 from Universal Robots, Hommel Maschinentechnik offers an automation solution.
The UR10e CB5 was designed as a universally applicable handling support for the automation of machine tools. It has a working radius of 1,300 mm and a payload of 10 kg. Universal Robots promises significant time savings when setting up and programming the cobot. Untrained users with little programming experience can set up the cobot within an hour and then program it easily and without complicated instructions using a 12" touchscreen. The Cobot is space-saving and can be used flexibly in different locations. The safety system used is TÜV-approved and certified. The UR10e CB5 can be connected to almost any Caruso CNC lathe from Hommel Maschinentechnik.
