IoT Lounge and Scaras
Together with system partners and integrators, Fanuc will be demonstrating what is already feasible in automation and where developments are heading under the motto "Automated Intelligence".
An IoT lounge will serve as a technology transfer center. An "on premise" solution with near-machine data handling and a cloud solution will be on display. All robots on the stand will be networked with each other. Which robot is running with which data can be observed in the IoT lounge. Among the innovations, the focus is on two Scara robots, both of which are making their European premiere. The SR-3iA and SR-6iA, with payload capacities of three and six kilograms respectively, are the first models in a completely new series. The new models also bring the new R-30iB Compact Plus Controller into the spotlight.
The iR-Programmer software, which runs on a tablet, makes the Scara robots a real hot topic at the trade fair. With such an interface, setting up a robot is no more complicated than operating a smartphone. There will also be a premiere at Automatica for collaborative robots. The CR-15iA with a payload capacity of 15 kilograms will be presented as the fifth model in the CR series. as
