The implementation of the vision of the 'smart factory' is picking up speed worldwide. This is accompanied by a development that cannot be overlooked: robots are leaving their cages and will work with and alongside their human colleagues in the future without separating protective devices. This requires completely new production and safety concepts. What do these look like? How can the new production assistants be programmed and integrated into production by non-robotics experts? What possible applications are there? What role do AI and machine learning play in the safe handling of HRC?

Questions upon questions will be the focus of the 4th Human Robot Forum and will be answered first-hand by the experts on site. The experience reports and presentations will focus on the latest technological innovations in the fields of HRC and robotics. An accompanying trade exhibition with many live demonstrations and a tour of the Fraunhofer IPA robot laboratories will round off the event.
