Complete machining of complex series parts
The 12-axis turning/milling centers of the NTY³ series from Nakamura-Tome have been specially developed for the complete machining of complex series parts.
Three models with turning lengths from 588 mm to 905 mm and turning diameters from 170 to 225 mm are available from Hommel. The turning/milling centers are used for the burr-free production of round or cubic workpieces with bores, threads, milling and for milling contours. They machine all types of material alloys with a strength of up to 1,000 N/mm². The three tool turrets can each be programmed in the X, Y and Z axes; the two workpiece spindles are designed as C axes.
