The Garant Master Tap INOX high-performance drill from Hoffmann is now available for thread diameters from M1.6 to M24 and with overlengths. In addition to the M, MF and G (BSPP) thread standards, it also meets the UNC and UNF No.2 to 1" standards for the first time.
The tap is suitable for producing through-hole and blind-hole threads in stainless and high-alloy steels with a tolerance of 6GX. The cutting edges of the tool have been additionally rounded to prevent chipping. A wear-resistant HSS-E-PM cutting material and a low-friction TiAlN multilayer sliding layer protect against premature wear.
