Preventive protection during ongoing production
Chiron's ProtectLine software reliably prevents potential damage and production downtime.
ProtectLine is characterized by the fact that a digital twin drives ahead of the physical machine in real time in every operating mode, bringing it to a controlled standstill in the event of a crash and thus providing preventive protection against collisions.
According to the company, the main difference between the software and other systems is that the simulated models always correspond to the current, real production situation. Even with minor adaptations or operating errors, a machine crash can be reliably avoided. This not only prevents potential damage, but also improves productivity in production.
The software is integrated on the new TouchLine operating panel, which enables simple operation thanks to an intuitive and context-sensitive operating concept.
