Setting up mechanical engineering for future requirements
The Samag Group will be repositioning itself strategically. According to the company, the main reasons for this are the changed market environment and the stronger focus on the individual business areas.
"In this way, we are creating the framework conditions for our company to develop successfully in the individual areas," says Managing Director Christian Kleinjung.
"We have decided to transfer Samag-Maschinenbau into a separate limited company. This will take place on January 1, 2020," Kleinjung continues. Until now, the machine tool manufacturing and automotive divisions have operated under one roof. For Samag, the improvement of the framework conditions also includes a new building for mechanical engineering planned for 2020. In addition, the production, logistics and administrative functions will be merged.
