Safe deburring of workpieces
Kullen-Koti will be exhibiting a comprehensive portfolio of brushes for deburring metal workpieces at EMO Hannover.
Brush deburring requires no chemicals or thermal energy and is suitable for burrs up to 0.2 mm high. The main focus at the trade fair will be on mechanical and fully automated deburring with driven brush tools.
Depending on the application, the different brush types are selected according to geometry and fill material. While the abrasive filaments can be matched to the application via the grain type (e.g. SiC, diamond, ceramic) and different grain sizes, the wire-tipped brushing tools are matched via the different hardnesses and diameters of the wires (0.06 to 1.2 mm) and their geometry (crimped, twisted, knotted).
Kullen-Koti has various brushes in its portfolio: Disc brushes, for example, prove to be a flexible and efficient deburring tool in many fully automated processes; round and single disc brushes can be used for manual as well as machine and fully automated deburring; Alphahon brushes are elastic deburring tools with abrasive fillings for finishing recesses, edges, channels, grooves and holes in steel, cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous metals.
