Production goes digital
From September 18 to 23, EMO, the world's leading trade fair for production technology, invites the industry to Hannover. Almost 1,800 exhibitors from 42 countries are expected. The exhibition will focus on machining centers and lathes, cutting tools and clamping devices, measuring equipment and control systems.
Under the motto "Innovate Manufacturing", suppliers of solutions for production technology will be showcasing the entire spectrum of products, machines and solutions for industrial production at EMO. The focus of EMO Hannover is on metal-cutting and forming machine tools, manufacturing systems, precision tools, automated material flow, computer technology, industrial electronics and accessories. EMO is regarded as the most important international meeting place for the industry worldwide.
This year's focus is on three megatopics: The Future of Business, The Future of Connectivity and The Future of Sustainability in Production. They are intended to show that production technology is not an insider event for experts, but rather that the industry is making its contribution to solving the pressing problems of our time. Topics such as greater efficiency, more flexibility, better quality, greater precision, the integration of AI and comprehensive networking in the factory will be the subject of discussion everywhere. The recruitment of skilled workers, vocational training and further training will also be covered. The EMO is organized by the German Machine Tool Builders' Association (VDW).
