Lach Diamant: EMO again at last
Four years have passed since the last EMO. "Finally back at the trade fair," says Lach Diamant from Hanau and is looking forward to welcoming familiar faces, friends and customers from all over the world again in Hall 4, Stand D48 in September 2023.
Even during the trade fair-free period, Lach Diamant was always ready to deliver. This was mainly due to the foresighted stock-keeping of diamond materials required for the production of PCD/PKBn cutting tools, diamond and CBN grinding wheels and diamond dressing tools. Decades of purchasing relationships in the now 100-year-old company have guaranteed good business relations; the slogan "Buying diamonds is a matter of trust" is realized in concrete terms for both sides.
More than a hundred years of pioneering tools
The company was founded over 100 years ago by Jakob Lach in 1922. It is known as a pioneer - as the following examples show: The first CBN borazon grinding wheel came onto the market in 1969 - 55 years ago. The first polycrystalline diamond cutting tools were introduced in 1973 - exactly 50 years ago. The first CBN cutting tool was launched in 1975 - 48 years ago. Spark erosion for the production of polycrystalline diamond tools was discovered and patented in 1978 - 45 years ago.
Partner for many industries
The company is a partner to manufacturers of wind turbines, the aircraft and automotive industries and their suppliers, the composite and plastics, graphite and toolmaking industries, the tool manufacturing industry, the electrical and medical industries and other sectors. The branch in the USA, Grand Rapids/Michigan, celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2022 and is an independent manufacturer for the American market for PCD cutting tools.
