Parting and slotting cutters
With 0.8 to 1.2 mm width
Slim Slit is the name of Iscar's new range of parting and slitting cutters.
The self-clamping components are available in widths of 0.8 mm, 1.0 mm and 1.2 mm and, depending on the application, are made from the tough cutting material grade IC1028 or the wear-free cutting material grade IC1008.
The tool can be used on all standard milling machines and machining centers, turning/milling machines, multitasking machines and lathes with driven units. It can be used for external slot milling, circular internal slot milling and parting milling of small components on all workpiece materials.
