In addition to an optimized microstructure and the special fine-grain carbide, they are characterized by an AITiN coating reworked with Dragonskin technology, which, according to the company, has high wear resistance even at high operating temperatures of up to 1,050 °C.

The CTPX710 and CTPX715 are available in various ISO geometries and a total of four chip breaker grades. The -M34 chip groove is suitable for superalloys: the slightly cutting geometry reduces cutting forces and effectively prevents built-up edge formation. The -25P and -25Q chip groove grades are available for non-ferrous metals, steel and cast iron.
