Milling machines

Andrea Gillhuber,

Now also with Siemens control system

Kunzmann is now also equipping its WF 410 MC and WF 610 WC series of CNC-operated milling machines with control technology from Siemens.

Previously, the hybrid machines were only available with the Heidenhain TNC 620 control system.

The CE-compliant 2-channel keypad was specially developed for Kunzmann. The company has integrated the functions of a manual milling machine into the user interface of the Siemens control system supplied with a touchscreen: they are available in manual mode in addition to the three standard CNC operating modes "Automatic", "Set-up" and "Intervene". This enables safe milling even when the doors are open and using manual handwheels. Sales will start at EMO Hannover.
