Heller
Incoming orders at record level
Despite a slight decline in turnover in 2018, the Heller Group set a new record for the past financial year: Incoming orders rose by 13.4 percent to 695.2 million euros.
The Heller Group 's turnover fell slightly by 3 percent to 558.3 million euros. The family-owned company's current order backlog stands at 546 million euros. The machine tool manufacturer was also able to increase its equity ratio, which now stands at just under 35 percent.
According to the company, the decline in incoming orders is due to delays in the project business. Those responsible see the after-sales business, which now accounts for around a quarter of the total business volume, as positive. Accordingly, the Nürtingen-based company generated 142 million euros with the service business and 412 million euros with the machine business.
