Saint-Gobain Abrasives offers Norten Winter Aeon electroplated, dressing-free high-precision grinding wheels for grinding engine and transmission components in large-scale production.
According to Saint-Gobain Abrasives, the high-strength and at the same time ductile nickel bond allows large grain protrusions of the cBN or diamond grain specifications with extreme holding force.
Norton Winter Vitron 7 is also suitable for grinding engine, bearing and gear components. The properties of the cBN grinding tools for external and internal cylindrical grinding include cool grinding and high cutting ability. According to the company, the tools offer users, among other things, longer dressing cycles as well as greater efficiency and output quality.
