New developments
Fork milling head and swivel device
Peiseler is presenting new solutions at EMO. With the SSK 400, the company has expanded its product portfolio in the area of fork milling heads.
A new motor cooling concept was developed for this purpose, which allows the heat generated by the direct drives to be dissipated and thus enables a high power density. Accuracy and continuous torque could also be increased in the identical installation space. Peiseler has also optimized the weight of the housing structure. Generously dimensioned axial-radial bearings ensure high precision and rigidity.
Also new is the ZASG 400 two-axis slewing device with a specially developed drive. With functionality comparable to other swivel devices, the torque level required in the electric drive upstream of the gearbox is significantly lower here. This allows the energy requirement for drive power and cooling to be reduced by up to 75 percent.
