For manual direct workpiece clamping
Schunk is expanding its modular system for direct workpiece clamping with the manually operated Vero-S WDM-5X series, which is particularly suitable for external set-up stations without a compressed air connection.
The pneumatically actuated Vero-S WDP-5X series, formerly known on the market as Vero-S WDB, is already available. The basic modules are available in heights of 75 mm, 125 mm, 150 mm and 175 mm and can be combined with the add-on modules in heights of 75 mm, 100 mm and 125 mm. The range also includes various clamping pin variants that can be integrated to suit the size and shape of the respective workpiece. Different reduction adapters enable 5-sided machining without interfering contours. Free-form surfaces can also be clamped using height adjustment adapters.
