Lathes for training and trade
Weiler developed the Praktikant GSD and VC Plus lathes as all-rounders for use in training and trade.
According to Weiler, the features include durability and ergonomic design. Thanks to a wide range of accessories, the models can be adapted to different applications in the training workshop, single part or small batch production. For the training sector, both models have extensive safety equipment as standard.
The Praktikant GSD offers a width of 650 mm and a swing diameter over the bed of 320 mm. Other features include a speed range of 48 to 2,500 rpm and 24 feed sizes as well as a main spindle mounted on high-precision tapered rollers.
