Vacuum specialist Guédon has introduced a technical innovation for the automated handling of food in paper and plastic bags with the flex-o-grip surface gripping system.
Bags or pouches place high demands on process technology. Due to their versatility in terms of film type, filling level and consistency of the bag contents, they require maximum flexibility in the handling process. The flex-o-grip area gripping system, specially designed for paper and plastic bags, is extremely flexible thanks to the different combination options of ejector and vacuum suction cup.
The suction surfaces provide a precise seal, enabling safe handling even of wrinkled, frozen or wet bags, such as frozen food. "In order to determine the optimum configuration of ejector and suction surface for the customer's particular application," says Managing Director Patrick Guédon, "we carry out extensive tests with the workpieces."
