The Gripkit technology from Weiss Robotics, which the company is presenting at Motek, is a universal platform for the seamless integration of smart gripper modules into modern cobot applications. As an out-of-the-box solution, Gripkit contains all the necessary components for system-side and mechanical integration. The supplied plugin and numerous sample programs relieve the user of the otherwise time-consuming integration of the gripping module into the robot controller.

The new Gripkit CR Easy expands the product range of the Ludwigsburg gripper specialists with an easy-to-use entry-level solution for collaborative robot applications and enables the realization of pick & place applications even for beginners. CR Easy is compatible with cobots from Universal Robots, Techman Robot and Doosan Robotics.

With its particularly safe design and integrated sensorless gripping force control, the new gripping solution is suitable for a wide range of applications. It has an adjustable gripping force of up to 200 newtons and an adjustable stroke of up to 30 millimetres. The gripping parameters are set directly via the USB interface integrated in the gripping module. During operation, the parameters are then selected via the cobot's Tool-IO interface.
