Power clamp with tolerance compensation

Sheet thickness - doesn't matter

Power clamps with tolerance compensation. Power clamps with tolerance compensation from Destaco's TCC-2E series bring flexibility to welding and assembly processes where clamping of sheets with different thicknesses or tighter tolerances is required.

With these TCC-2E power clamps with tolerance compensation, Destaco is expanding its portfolio of power clamps. Manual adjustment to different sheet thicknesses is no longer necessary, resulting in significantly shorter set-up and tool change times in production lines. The TCC-2E is compatible with the manufacturer's other portfolio of power clamps, centering clamps and pin drawing cylinders.

These clamping solutions simplify complex welding and assembly applications in the automotive, aerospace and consumer goods industries.

Destaco focuses on the design and manufacture of automation, workholding and remote handling solutions for various industries, including automotive, life sciences, consumer goods packaging, aerospace, manufacturing and nuclear. Complex clamping technology applications can be realized in almost all areas of industry. The TCC-2E model is interchangeable with Destaco power clamps from the 82M-3E series and is suitable for flexible applications in the automotive, aerospace and consumer goods industries. One example from the automotive industry is the handling of vehicle chassis with different material thicknesses on a single production line. Whereas previously two clamps were required for different material thicknesses, in future only one tool will be needed thanks to the tolerance compensation clamp. This also reduces production costs.

The TCC-2E tensioners are available in various sizes with and without a hand lever. The devices have an encapsulated housing to protect the internal mechanism and are maintenance-free for three million operating cycles. Various cylinder designs with pilot-operated check valves, locking devices and anti-rotation devices enable adaptation for different applications. pb
