For high clamping forces
The power clamping nuts of the MCA-S/MCA-T series are a further development of the MCA series. Jakob has added a star or T-handle to the operating hexagon to enable easy operation by hand.
This means that a high clamping force can also be generated without tools, as the force amplification is generated via the integrated planetary gear. The latching mechanism ensures automatic switching from pre-tensioning to power clamping. Thanks to the robust design and the self-locking function of the power clamping nuts, a high degree of safety is guaranteed, the supplier promises. The power pack is made from nitrocarburized heat-treated steel with a housing cover made from high-strength aluminium. The power clamping nuts can be used at temperatures from minus 30 to plus 90 degrees Celsius. pb
