Multi-function gripper
For the palletizing process
The Paro palletizing robot from Roteg in Dortmund will be exhibiting a new gripper system at Fachpack in Nuremberg. The manufacturer is presenting a multifunctional gripper that can palletize both cartons and intermediate layers using a vacuum suction cup.
It is also equipped with grippers with which it can grip boxes and empty pallets. This gripper therefore takes on various tasks in the palletizing process: it can handle different types of packages, ensure greater load stability with intermediate layers of paper or cardboard and also provide empty pallets for palletizing. This ensures that the palletizing process runs quickly and smoothly. Roteg will also be exhibiting a bag gripper that is specially adapted to the requirements of bag palletizing. Thanks to its gripper tines, which run on a programmable path, bags can be palletized without the risk of damage. Roteg will also be taking conveyor technology to Nuremberg - with the latest version of an empty pallet magazine as part of the pallet conveyor technology. pb
