Mobile pressing, ergonomic handling

At Motek, Roemheld will be presenting a concept study of a new mobile electric press-in device, products for ergonomic workpiece handling and the zero-point clamping system from Stark.

Roemheld is coming to this year's Motek with the concept study of a new mobile electric press-fit device as a trade fair premiere. The compact, lightweight and easy-to-transport machine in portal design is made of aluminum profiles and is operated by a linear drive. It is designed primarily for use in workshops, prototype construction and service.

It is available as a table version or with a height-adjustable frame and offers joining forces of up to six kilonewtons. Thanks to its functional and flexibly adaptable technology, it enables processes such as holding down, pressing and caulking components. It also supports assembly processes by fixing, positioning, blocking or tensioning springs. The press-fit device, which is equipped with a Modulog control system, is operated with one hand using a button or - for increased safety requirements - using a split two-hand operation.

The Group will also be showcasing products for the ergonomic handling of workpieces and components for flexible and mobile assembly workstations. These can be put together individually with the help of flexibly deployable and combinable modules and adapted to changing requirements at any time. For fully automatic assembly, the recently expanded range of electric clamping elements will also be on display.

In addition, there is the zero-point clamping system from Stark, which sees itself as a pioneer in the digitalization of set-up processes and Industry 4.0 applications. The models in the Stark.connect product series with fully integrated sensors reliably determine the respective clamping status. This information is displayed via LEDs and forwarded to a PLC via digital interfaces. With the zero-point clamping systems, components can be clamped and positioned with repeat accuracy throughout the entire production process - from the machining center to the assembly workstation and even in welding environments. as
