Lever hoists in housing production
The two LB and LX lever hoists are used by Schmidt in the production of large machine housings. They are suitable for aligning sheet metal and positioning individual modules in confined spaces.
The production of complex systems involves a great deal of tension. Large steel parts are assembled in line with the designs - and precise attention must be paid to every detail. Every project is unique, every model is created under new challenges. The company Gebr. Schmidt has specialized in the production of individual machine housings for the beverage industry, for example, for 30 years. The large metal housings are produced in the company's own factory using modern, computer-aided processes. Nevertheless, other tools are still used for the manual assembly of the machine components in order to guarantee the high quality of the end products and to make the work of the fitters as safe as possible. Kito partner Klein Seil- und Hebetechnik had the right solution for this: Kito LB and LX lever hoists.
The LB and LX lever hoists are safe, robust and precise when completing the metal housings in the machine park of Gebr. This allows precise work to be carried out in confined spaces when assembling large components. Thanks to their compact design, both hoists are easy to handle and can be used quickly.
The LB lever hoist with robust sheet steel housing is easy to clamp for reliable load handling. It is used to simply clamp and secure components. The guided hook jaw safety device and the special nickel-plated load chain can lift loads of up to 9,000 kilograms. And all this with little effort for the fitter thanks to a precision gearbox with fine teeth, chain freewheel and high-performance load pressure brake. The lashing hook, which is available as an option, provides secure attachment to the components.
The compact LX is similarly equipped and, thanks to its precision gearbox, offers the same simple, reliable manual operation with loads of up to 500 kilograms and distances (lifting heights) of up to three meters. as
