Kito brings snow even without winter

The Polish company Supersnow produces snow even when it's not winter. Snow cannons, booms and complete snowmaking systems make ski resorts look perfect not only in winter. The snow machines work all over the world, as the production of technical snow is possible at temperatures of up to plus 30 degrees Celsius. Supersnow is the only Polish company and one of five worldwide that deals with the planning, construction and servicing of complete snowmaking systems.

Rafal Topolski, CEO of Supersnow, explains: "The idea behind the new snow gun was to make it light enough to be lifted and increase snowmaking efficiency. The ability to raise the gun to a height of almost four meters increases the fall time of the atomized water droplets, which means that better use can be made of the weather conditions." This idea is perfected by the Kito ER2 electric chain hoist as the main part of the construction.
The hoist is characterized by its wide range of load capacities from 125 kilograms up to 20 tonnes. The ER2 can be used in almost all areas where a robust and solidly built chain hoist is required. With its pioneering frequency inverter technology or 24-volt contactor control, it can perform all tasks with ease and with the highest level of safety. Supersnow chose the ER2 because it was developed for extreme conditions. Kito is the only manufacturer in the world to nickel-plate its load chains. This makes the hoist strong, and the company also points to an extended service life and reduced operating costs.
With the ER2 electric chain hoist, it is possible to raise the gun to a height of almost four meters. When the snow gun is raised to its maximum height, it can operate at full capacity and rotate 360 degrees - increasing the snow-making area. The fact that the snow gun is mounted high on a platform also minimizes the risk of accidents. as
