Gripkit-CR from Weiss
Collaborative gripping in the blink of an eye
With the Gripkit-CR, the Ludwigsburg-based gripper specialist Weiss Robotics has launched a new gripping solution for cobots that relieves the user of the complex robot-side integration of the gripper module, thus saving time and costs.
In addition to the actual gripper module, the solution includes all the components needed to implement a collaborative pick & place application. The smart gripping solution is already available for the Kuka LBR iiwa and for cobots from Universal Robots. With its rounded edges and safely limited gripping force, Gripkit-CR meets the DGUV recommendations for collaborative robot systems as well as the requirements of the ISO/TS 15066 standard.
It is available in two sizes: with a 30 Newton and 50 millimeter stroke and a 200 Newton and 85 millimeter stroke. The gripping force and gripping width can be specified directly via the robot controller and thus adapted to the application. To ensure reliable handling throughout the entire process, the Gripkit-CR has integrated gripping part detection and sensorless gripping force control as standard.
Thanks to the patented Permagrip gripping force safety device, the gripper holds the gripped part securely even in the event of an emergency stop or sudden power loss and is the first method that can be used for HRC that does not snap shut during manual workpiece removal. as
