Schmersal establishes new subsidiary in Turkey
The Schmersal Group has founded a new subsidiary in Turkey. Schmersal Turkey Otomasyon Ürünleri ve Hizmetleri, Istanbul, commenced operations in January.
The supplier in the field of machine safety is thus further expanding its global presence. Schmersal is now represented by its own companies and sales partners in over 60 countries.
The new subsidiary primarily supplies the Turkish and Azerbaijani markets with safety technology products and systems. "Thanks to the sales partnership with Satech Safety Technology, we can also offer our customers who protect their machines and systems with guards complete systems from a single source," says Bariş Yücel, Managing Director of Schmersal Turkey.
The Istanbul branch's offering is rounded off by comprehensive services from tec.nicum, the company's service division. These include, for example, follow-up time measurements and risk assessments. tec.nicum consists of a worldwide network of Functional Safety Engineers certified by TÜV Rheinland. This means that the services of the international tec.nicum organization can now also be accessed easily and conveniently on site in Turkey.
"Schmersal is already a well-known and recognized quality manufacturer on the Turkish market," explains Bariş Yücel. "However, our aim is to become our customers' preferred supplier and first choice for safety-related products and services. I am convinced that we will achieve this with our combination of expertise, well-organized service quality and high-quality products and systems."
