Sumitomo Drive Technologies, together with Invertek Drives and the Lafert Group, will be presenting its complete drive solutions for automation and Industry 4.0. Visitors to the stand will learn how they can achieve their sustainability goals and increase their competitiveness at the same time by using energy-efficient drive solutions.
Together with Lafert and Invertek, Sumitomo offers complete solutions that must meet the needs of an increasingly green industry. Energy efficiency is a key factor in drive solutions. The use of state-of-the-art technologies, coordinated components and intelligent control reduce operating, maintenance and repair costs.
One of the highlights at the stand will be the fully integrated Tuaka drive for robot applications, last year's winner of the Hermes Award at the Hannover Messe. Visitors can see the performance of the Tuaka drives for themselves by guiding a robot arm with integrated torque sensor or testing various additionally implemented functions, such as virtual end stops or a spring-damper application.
