Marco Altherr becomes new Chief Financial Officer
The Supervisory Board of Ziehl-Abegg has appointed Marco Altherr as the company's new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Altherr will take up his post in May 2025.
Marco Altherr (born 1974) joins Joachim Ley (CEO) and Wolfgang Mayer (CTO) on the Management Board. In addition to the traditional CFO areas, Altherr will also be responsible for IT and HR. He has extensive experience in financial management. He has been part of the Freudenberg Group since 2011, where he was most recently responsible for all financial matters as CFO of Freudenberg Performance Materials. Previous positions at Manroland and Heidelberger Druckmaschinen round off his profile.

"His experience in international industrial companies will be of great value to us."
Ziehl-Abegg is a supplier in the field of air, control and drive technology. Examples of applications for the products include heating and cooling systems or clean room and agricultural systems. Another area is electric motors, which provide propulsion in elevators, medical applications (computer tomographs) or deep-sea underwater vehicles, for example.
