Weiler Werkzeugmaschinen celebrates its 80th anniversary
The Franconian machine tool manufacturer Weiler Werkzeugmaschinen celebrated its 80th anniversary at the beginning of June with an extra day off and a big family party. Around 500 well-wishers, big and small, accepted the invitation to the celebration at the company's headquarters in Emskirchen near Herzogenaurach at the beginning of June.
In a short speech, Friedrich K. Eisler, sole managing partner, thanked all employees for their active contribution to the company's success story: "Our strength is that we can rely on each other. We don't wait for outside help, we work together. This cohesion has made Weiler successful over the past eight decades. It will also enable us to master the future."
The guests included numerous employees from the production site in Holoubkov, Czech Republic, who had also traveled to the event accompanied by their families. Also present were the employees of Weiler's associated retrofit specialist Wematech WMS and representatives of partner company Kunzmann Maschinenbau.
During tours of the production halls, young and old were able to gain an insight into the manufacture of precision lathes - and perhaps one or two could see their future workplace.
With the appointment of his sons as managing directors, the generational change at the top of the family business continues. Michael Eisler, MBA, Sales, Service and Marketing Manager, and his brother Alexander Eisler, Commercial Manager, together with their father, mother and accompanied by their wives and sons - the third generation of Eislers - welcomed the numerous guests to the family celebration. kp
