"The collaboration makes it even easier to provide high-quality product information based on the industry standard eCl@ss," says Gerald Lobermeier, responsible for Business Development for the "Digital Product" at Weidmüller. Joachim Frank, Managing Director of zuken E3, emphasizes: "We are delighted to have Weidmüller's support for the portal. This intensifies our long-standing cooperation for the benefit of our customers".

Nowadays, engineering processes have to be ever faster, more precise and more economical, which requires appropriate tools that optimally support the complex planning process. The Cadenas portal can be accessed directly from the Zuken CAE software E3.series. Interested customers can search directly for products from various manufacturers and load the corresponding components directly into the CAE tool. "In conjunction with our Weidmüller Configurator, this results in major advantages, as the connection to the databases and the more intensive collaboration support the continuous engineering workflow from planning with E-CAD systems to documentation," says Lobermeier.
