Volker Trein strengthens Bernstein's sales team
Volker Trein (47) joined the Bernstein sales team in October 2018 as industry manager for elevators and escalators.
The family-owned company, a supplier of industrial safety technology, offers its customers versatile solutions with a comprehensive range of switches, sensors, enclosures and operating terminals. "Thanks to his extensive experience, Volker Trein knows the industry very well and has advised customers and colleagues worldwide on specialist applications. In order to further strengthen and expand Bernstein AG 's position in the market, he is the perfect addition to our sales team," says Nicole Bernstein, Board Member for Sales and Marketing, explaining the decision.
Volker Trein has been working in the elevator technology sector since 2002. Initially, he was able to familiarize himself extensively with the industry as a service employee with commissioning and troubleshooting at an elevator control manufacturer. He also became a specialist through his additional training as a control technician and then through his almost 15 years working in technical sales for a manufacturer of elevator control units. "The good contact with the fitters in the shaft, the experience I was able to gain directly in the field and the many years of exchange with customers and colleagues are the most important basis for my position at Bernstein. I know the industry and its challenges and I'm looking forward to using this knowledge to push ahead with customer-specific projects in particular," says Volker Trein about his motivation.
