Till Reuter resigns from Kuka's Management Board

Kuka CEO Dr. Till Reuter resigns from his position on the Executive Board prematurely in December in agreement with the Supervisory Board. Peter Mohnen takes over as interim CEO, Andreas Pabst as interim CFO.

Dr. Reuter has been Kuka' s CEO for almost ten years. He joined in 2009 and led the company out of the economic crisis. Under his leadership, the company was able to maintain its leading position in the automotive sector and continue to position itself in new markets. Together with the Kuka team, Reuter shaped the strategy for Industry 4.0, collaborative robots and growth in China.

According to the company, all existing investor agreements that the Augsburg-based robot manufacturer has signed with Midea as majority shareholder, including the shielding agreement to protect Kuka's intellectual property, will remain unchanged. Midea expressed its support for the growth strategy, including the development of the Chinese market, the focus on research and development, investments in digitalization and Industry 4.0 as well as a strong commitment to its presence in Germany.
