The first authorized training center in the DACH region is now open and is operated by Stratasys Platinum Partner alphacam at its headquarters in Schorndorf.

alphacam's training center offers users of FDM and PolyJet 3D printing technologies a comprehensive range of courses that enable participants to expand their knowledge of additive manufacturing and its effective use for a variety of design and production applications. The goal is to help users maximize their investment in 3D printing and help them avoid costs associated with production errors and material waste.

The range of courses is varied and is aimed at 3D printing users with different levels of knowledge and covers key topics such as CAD design and much more. The courses also include software training for GrabCAD programs.

"Alphacam has been working closely with Stratasys for 25 years, and our expertise is correspondingly deep," says Michael Junghanß, Managing Partner of alphacam. "We are convinced of the disruptive potential of additive manufacturing in industrial applications. However, we also know from many customer projects what challenges such an implementation poses in a traditional design or production environment. This is where we offer the decisive added value and support users and companies with suitable training to operate their additive manufacturing systems optimally and thus become more productive and profitable."

Matthias Gukelberger, Vice President and Head of Services EMEA at Stratasys, adds: "We are delighted that alphacam is the first authorized Stratasys training center in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It is very important to us that we provide users of our technology with local expertise to accompany them on their path to additive manufacturing. alphacam is the ideal partner for this. The company has a long tradition of working closely with its customers. It understands their requirements and can now support them even better with comprehensive training to make the best use of their additive solutions."

"In the EMEA region, we will be expanding this offering in the coming months with additional authorized training centers," says Gukelberger.
