Smart production and transformation
Industry-wide dialog
The industry is under great pressure to change. How is the manufacturing industry progressing with the development towards smart production? How can we make the transition from crisis management to long-term transformation in terms of energy, efficiency and sustainability? How can the expansion of the urgently needed infrastructure be accelerated? How are companies tackling the shortage of employees?
Rittal, Eplan, Cideon and German Edge Cloud will be discussing these questions with visitors to the Hannover Messe. "Innovation needs to go beyond products and solutions," says Markus Asch, CEO of Rittal International and Rittal Software Systems. "We need to understand the processes along our customers' value chains, think in terms of new ecosystems and develop comprehensive solutions. We are convinced that this is only possible using standardized platforms. Hannover Messe is the forum for industry-wide dialog on this."
Rittal emphasizes that it no longer thinks in terms of products and solutions, but in terms of process optimization with a clever combination of hardware and software. As an enabler of smart production, Rittal and its partner companies will be demonstrating, among other things, how the three ecosystems of automation engineering, product manufacturing and production processes can each be connected via a digital twin.
