Schmolz + Bickenbach expands sales to Argentina
Schmolz + Bickenbach is expanding its presence on the South American market with a new branch in Argentina. From Buenos Aires, the company will distribute special long steel products throughout the country. With this strategic step, the Group is expanding its sales network to its fourth country in South America. In addition to Argentina, there are offices, warehouses and service centers in Brazil, Chile and Colombia.
The complete range of tool steels, stainless steel products and engineering steels from the subsidiaries Ascometal, Deutsche Edelstahlwerke, Finkl Steel, Steeltec, Swiss Steel and Ugitech is therefore also available for the Argentinian market. With its portfolio of various special long steel products, such as high-alloy or stainless long steels, the Schmolz + Bickenbach Group primarily targets companies in the automotive, plastics, food and beverage, and oil and gas industries.
An experienced team has already started work with the new Sales and Services Center in Buenos Aires. Cutting machines for the customized processing of orders and an initial stock of tool steel products are available there.
