Saw Expo 2019 will not take place

Saw Expo will not take place as announced from May 14 to 17, 2019 at Messe Augsburg.

According to the organizer Untitled Exhibitions, the concept of a special interest trade fair for the sawing industry was generally well received by potential exhibitors. After the successful premiere trade fair in June 2018, there was a lot to be said for establishing the trade fair in Augsburg. However, for a variety of reasons, too many companies relevant to the trade fair decided against participating in May 2019. According to Untitled Exhibitions, a positive development of the 2019 trade fair that would justify the investment of the participating companies was not foreseeable under these circumstances.

The company is also withdrawing from the Saw Expo project as an organizer and is focusing on the other trade fairs in its portfolio. Talks with other partners regarding the continuation of the Saw Expo concept are being driven forward by the initiator of the trade fair, Stefan Motte, Die Sägebörse.
