Rutronik and Vishay extend franchise agreement
Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente and Vishay Intertechnology extend their franchise agreement to the Americas region. Vishay offers a wide range of semiconductors and passive components. The product range extends from resistors to inductors and capacitors. The franchise extension applies to the entire portfolio and is already in force.
The company mainly supplies customers in the industrial, automotive, computer and telecommunications sectors. Vishay's portfolio for the American market includes MOSFETs, power resistors, voltage dividers, battery shunts, optical sensors, ESD and Z diodes, suppressor diodes (TVS), Schottky diodes, power ICs, tantalum and multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC), inductors, infrared receivers and microBUCK regulators. These components are particularly interesting for applications in the areas of mobility, battery management systems, human-machine interfaces in cars, driver assistance systems, connectivity, set-top boxes and BLE beacons for IoT devices.
"We have been working very closely with Rutronik in Europe for 17 years," said Robert Kirch, Vice President, Global Distribution Sales, Vishay. "We look forward to expanding this partnership to the Americas region, where we plan to grow our presence in several markets with Rutronik's support."
"The numerous high-quality components in combination with the reliable and flexible technical and commercial support make Vishay one of our most important partners," says Manuel Gauß, Line Manager Vishay at Rutronik. "We are therefore very pleased to be working with Vishay in the Americas region as well."
