Rutronik and Asus: EMEA franchise agreement
Mainboard and computer manufacturer Asus enters into a partnership with Rutronik for the EMEA region. The agreement is effective immediately.
With its professional solutions for workstations and servers with an availability of up to five years, the Taiwanese manufacturer addresses the rapidly growing market for high-performance solutions in areas such as medical image processing, video surveillance and automation technology for AOI systems.
Rutronik is adding workstation & server mainboards, barebones and server systems to its existing portfolio in order to meet the growing demands of customers for solutions in the IIOT and cloud connectivity sector. With solutions designed for high performance and high data throughput, up to eight graphics or compute accelerator cards working in parallel can be connected, from single to dual-socket solutions. This means that deep learning and artificial intelligence can also be used on a broad scale in the form of building blocks.
In the barebone sector, generic solutions are available as well as 1U solutions with a short installation depth. The server range is rounded off by workstations for deep learning and content creation, which are of particular interest to system houses.
"We are tapping into a whole new market with our new industrial solutions," says Thomas Pannenbecker, Country Head of Asus in Germany. "Rutronik is the ideal partner for us to pave the way to Industry 4.0 together."
"The products from Asus' workstation & server range complement Rutronik's portfolio in an area that is becoming increasingly important due to digitalization and the growing use of artificial intelligence in the industrial environment," explains Mario Klug, Senior Marketing Manager Embedded Boards & Systems at Rutronik.
