Nordsys grows and expands its portfolio

Nordsys, a leading provider of V2X system solutions, is growing - both economically and in terms of personnel. The company will therefore be moving into new premises in May 2018. There are also plans to expand the specialized product and engineering portfolio.

"We have been able to increase our workforce from 28 to 42 experts within the space of a year and need an operating area designed for further growth. We have also successfully established our V2X products internationally, especially in the USA and Asian markets, so we expect further growth in personnel over the course of the year," says Sascha Hummel, Managing Director of Nordsys. Due to the positive economic and personnel development, a move to new business premises is necessary. From May 2018, the company will therefore move into new premises with an area of around 1,500 square meters on Mittelweg in Braunschweig.

The company is also planning to further expand its specialized product and engineering portfolio, particularly in the areas of autonomous driving, infotainment and connected cars. The company's declared goal is to specialize and expand its workforce to 70 employees by 2020.

The V2X product lines and the Wavebee brand's own system solutions have been successfully marketed internationally. The Wavebee systems are used in test fields worldwide and can practically be considered the industry standard, according to the manufacturer. A new mobile test and simulation tool was presented at the ITS World Congress in Montreal, Canada, in October 2017. "Our current development Wavebee to-go was very well received when it was presented as a world first. The highly mobile ad hoc V2X simulation system enables the rapid creation of complete, virtualized V2X networks thanks to an extensive editor. The special feature of the system is that the freely definable scenarios can be executed reproducibly anywhere in the world and in compliance with the region-specific communication standards," explains Manfred Miller, Managing Partner. as
