No Logimat 2021

After several postponements, the date of June 2021 has now also been dropped. However, a digital platform is planned. In 2022, the trade fair will once again take place regularly in March.

Logimat - International Trade Fair for Intralogistics Solutions and Process Management as well as Warehouse Technology will not take place as planned from June 22 to 24, 2021 due to the ongoing difficult corona situation. The organizer, Euroexpo Messe- und Kongress-GmbH, sees itself forced to postpone Logimat to the date from 8 to 10 March 2022 due to the current infection figures and the confusing vaccination situation, as well as the associated movement restrictions.

"An end to the travel restrictions as they exist today is not foreseeable due to the vaccination situation and the mutations. We have to react to this in good time. Our exhibitors need planning security, which is not given at the moment," explains Michael Ruchty, Exhibition Director of Logimat , Stuttgart. "From today's perspective, it is unclear whether the face-to-face event could take place in full in June. The exhibitors would like to see an in-person event, but if we end up having to do without the important international participants, that is not in the interests of everyone involved. We must do everything we can to ensure that the justified expectations of exhibitors and visitors on site are met. Another postponement of 2 to 3 months would be neither sensible nor plannable. In the end, we have also opted for the March date in 2022 in order to return to the usual Logimat rhythm in the first quarter, as expressly requested by many exhibitors."

The organizer is currently working on a digital communication and information platform to create an opportunity for exhibitors and visitors to network digitally in 2021.

"In addition to exciting and top-class presentations and an opportunity for our exhibitors to showcase their products and solutions, the focus is on intelligent matchmaking," explains Peter Kazander, Managing Director of Euroexpo . With the digital solution, the organizer wants to close the gap until the next in-person trade fair in March 2022 and meet its primary task of bringing exhibitors and visitors together in a timely manner.

The next Logimat will take place in Stuttgart from March 8 to 10, 2022.
