New trade fair date at the end of May
Nortec, the trade fair for production and campus for SMEs, will be postponed to May 31 to June 3, 2022. The reason for this is the ongoing pandemic situation and its impact on events.
"The fourth wave of the coronavirus and the dynamic situation regarding regulations and infections currently make it impossible to hold a trade fair in January. We will therefore postpone Nortec until the end of May 2022. We want to offer our exhibitors and visitors the greatest possible planning security and are pleased that we have been able to find a new date," says Bernd Aufderheide, CEO of Hamburg Messe und Congress.
Following intensive discussions with the exhibitor advisory board, Hamburg Messe und Congress will now hold Nortec from May 31 to June 3, 2022. The trade fair for production and campus for SMEs was originally scheduled to take place from January 25 to 28, 2022.
"The safety of our exhibitors and visitors is our top priority. That is why we are planning Nortec 2022 taking into account the hygiene concept of Hamburg Messe und Congress, which has already been successfully applied at other events. This concept will be continuously adapted to the current regulations," says Bernd Aufderheide. "Discussions with our exhibitors have shown that there is a great desire for personal meetings and exchanges, and we can hardly wait to open the doors of Hamburg Messe und Congress to the production industry again from May 31, 2022. The trade fair as a marketplace and networking event is alive and well and brings great added value to both exhibitors and visitors."
