New management
Philip Bellm and Albrecht Hohenadl take over management of Captron
Captron undergoes a change in management. Philip Bellm takes over as Chairman and Albrecht Hohenadl as Commercial Director, while Reinhard Bellm and Petra Bellm from the first generation of company management hand over to the next generation and join the Supervisory Board.
Captron has gained the experienced manager Dr. Klaus Feix as a further member of the board. Philip Bellm is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Captron and has been a second-generation managing partner since 2016, continuing the family tradition. Bellm has always had an affinity for IT and technology and has grown with the company in various roles at Captron: since 2000, he has worked in a wide variety of departments, successfully completed his business administration degree while working and, from 2006, was responsible for the conception and further development of the current product generation of sensor scanners as Product Manager.
Bellm took over as Sales Director in 2011 and has been driving the expansion and internationalization of the company ever since. In order to further sharpen the company's vision and strategically develop Captron's positioning, he launched the Captron Solutions brand in 2021, with which Captron complements its existing service portfolio in sensor technology (Captron Technologies) with services for individual software development and integration, process consulting (lean management) and project management. With his vision for market developments, Bellm wants to inspire other companies to digitize themselves.
Albrecht Hohenadl has been part of Captron's Executive Board since May 2021 and will assume the roles of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) on January 1, 2022. He will also be responsible for the Asia Pacific region as Executive Director APAC. Albrecht Hohenadl began his career in 2003 at a Munich-based SDAX company, where he worked for around ten years in various management roles in Japan, the Philippines and China. Before joining the management board of Captron, Hohenadl headed the entire Asia Pacific business of a Munich-based global market leader specializing in engineering services. Hohenadl studied communications in Munich and Tokyo and holds an MBA from Regis University Colorado. Thanks to his many years of experience in international business and in various management positions, he is ideally placed to lead and support Captron on its path to further expansion.
Reinhard Bellm and Petra Bellm are stepping down from the Management Board and will join the company's Supervisory Board in January 2022, which will support the dual leadership in an advisory capacity. Captron is gaining the experienced manager Dr. Klaus Feix as an additional member of the board, who is active as Managing Partner of Medicare Medizinische Geräte and Venture Partner of MIG Capital and can look back on a successful career as a member of the Executive Board of the listed Schaltbau Holding AG and ARRI AG as well as Managing Director of Efficient Energy GmbH. With his diverse management experience and broad industry expertise, Feix can bring a valuable external perspective to the strategic development of Captron.
"Together with Albrecht as a partner in the management board, I am looking forward to continuing Captron's successful course - my parents have made unique achievements in the company's history over the past 38 years and I would like to thank them for their great trust," says Philip Bellm, CEO of Captron.
"Captron creates a unique fusion of tradition and innovation, which immediately inspired me. We are in a phase of strategic realignment and it is an honor to help shape this. I look forward to my new tasks and the current and future challenges facing our company with great anticipation and pleasure," comments Albrecht Hohenadl, CFO / COO of Captron.
"With their vision, entrepreneurial spirit and deep industry expertise, Philip and Albrecht form the perfect team to continue Captron's successful course," says Reinhard Bellm, founder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Captron. "We wish Philip and Albrecht all the best. We have every confidence that they will lead the company and all its employees into a successful, sustainable future," concludes Petra Bellm, member of Captron's Supervisory Board.
