New Head of Software at Proglove

Keith Andrew Ball is to head up the software engineering division of industrial wearables specialist Proglove. In this role, Ball will report to Jonas Girardet, Vice President Engineering and co-founder of the company.

The 39-year-old has more than 18 years of relevant industry experience. During his career, he has held management and consulting positions at Haven, Brabbler, Brainloop, Digital Rum Germany, Sangre Environmental Services, and IABG. Keith also has close ties to the Technical University of Munich. He holds a degree in Information Systems from the prestigious Staffordshire University (UK).

"The combination of software and hardware is always an exciting challenge," comments Ball. "Ultimately, it's always about finding the right balance to provide a well-functioning system. I'm really looking forward to this task, because Proglove is all about enabling human-machine interaction to add substance to existing Industry 4.0 approaches."
