New Afag branch in Shanghai
With its new branch in Shanghai, the automation specialist Afag wants to move closer to the Chinese market. The premises offer space for a warehouse, a showroom and an assembly workshop.
"In order to tap into the enormous market potential, we want to be even closer to the machine builders and thus address users and end customers directly," says Thorsten Eiche, General Manager China at Afag. To ensure this, the automation specialist is not only planning to invest in its own local team of sales and service personnel, but also to expand its partner network. The first employees have already been working at the new branch since spring.
The branch is conveniently located between the two airports and the main railway station. On 350 square meters, there is a showroom for regular customer training and product presentations, a workshop for the assembly of handling systems and an in-house warehouse. as
