R + W grows
More space for production and administration
In mid-October, R + W Antriebselemente, which celebrates its thirtieth anniversary next year, moved into its new building. The company's continuous growth required more space for production and administration.
A new company building with around 1,000 square meters of office space and 2,500 square meters of space for production was built on the approximately 7,000 square meter site. The location was chosen in close consultation with the parent company Poppe + Potthoff from Werther, Westphalia.
From the building application in October 2018, to the start of construction work in January 2019 and finally the move in October 2019, it took just one year. A tight schedule that could be adhered to thanks to the good cooperation of everyone involved.
Over 8 million euros were invested in order to meet the growing demand in the sector and to continue to implement the company's strategic goals.
R + W is planning an inauguration ceremony for the new company building in fall 2020 together with the celebration of the company's 30th anniversary.
