Minitec opens plant in the US state of New York

In Farmington, around an hour's drive from Niagara Falls, the new Minitec Framing LLC plant was opened in spring. The modern building is designed to offer attractive working conditions for around 40 employees. With an investment of around six million US dollars, the building was constructed with an area of 5,000 square meters. It reflects the latest findings in workplace design and is also intended to inspire American Minitec customers for their own projects.

The range of services includes the design and assembly of customized solutions for workplace design, machine protection, conveyor technology and linear technology. The basis for all designs is the Minitec profile system. The American plant is networked with the headquarters in West Palatinate to ensure secure data exchange and guarantee the high level of quality across national borders.

A wide range of in-house offers for professional training and qualification are a special feature of the American plant. On two working days a week, the company offers courses in CNC programming, CAD design and mechatronics. The courses take place after working hours and the company pays for the training. The aim of the measure is to achieve a level of training similar to the German dual system. kp
