Maintenance and Pumps & Valves increase their visitor numbers
The Maintenance and Pumps & Valves trade fairs were held together again this year in Dortmund on February 21. This year, the trade fairs for maintenance and pump and valve technology were able to increase their visitor numbers by a third to a total of 5,336 visitors.
Maintenance and Pumps & Valves were once again held in parallel on February 21. They were able to increase visitor numbers by 32 percent compared to the previous year to a total of 5336 trade fair visitors. Around 300 exhibitors were represented at the trade fairs for maintenance, pump and valve technology in Dortmund. This year marked the 10th anniversary of the Maintenance trade fair. In its anniversary year, the organizers of the Dortmund trade fair for industrial maintenance achieved a 15 percent increase in exhibitors and a 32 percent increase in trade visitors. Pumps & Valves, the trade fair for pumps, valves and processes, also impressed this year with a 14 percent increase in visitor numbers. As a result, the trade fair was able to underline its growing importance as a key meeting place for the pumps and valves industry.
According to organizer Easyfairs, the success is confirmed by the unanimously positive response from exhibitors and trade visitors. At the trade fair, current topics such as the digital transformation of maintenance, predictive maintenance, digital twin, condition monitoring and spare parts management were highlighted in workshops, conferences and presentations on the open lecture stages. Preparations for next year's follow-up event are already underway and the trade fair duo will be back at the Westfalenhallen in Dortmund from February 12 to 13, 2020.
